Photographers often tell me that they want to offer something special, with great quality to their clients. At PhotoPlus, this year I heard this request more than ever. I heard many statements of albums all looking the same. Needless to say, I consider it a great, great compliment that many photographers come to Cypress to fulfill this need of wanting something really special and of the highest quality. More than this wonderful compliment, it means that there is a movement back to getting an Heirloom, not just an album.
Yes, I am a romantic, but an Heirloom is so much more than an album or a book. An Heirloom, by definition, is something that is passed down for generations through family members or the
estate. Imagine grandkids and great grandkids learning about and seeing their family through the wonderful Heirloom that you are creating for them. I love thinking about the number of people who will have Cypress Heirlooms in their family. It is such an honor to be able to work at a more traditional bindery where Heirlooms are hand-crafted everyday by master artisans.
Hand-crafting Heirlooms is meticulous, careful work that we take very seriously. Creating Heirloom albums that you love is also something that we take very seriously and have a great passion for. We also love to design and create new products specifically for you. So if you have an idea, I am sure that we can create it for you. And, most importantly, I encourage everyone to create Heirlooms!
